The All-Star Read-a-thon, benefitting the Glen Rock Public Library, starts on March 2nd and runs through March 29th.

ALL STAR READ-A-THON TIMELINE & DETAILS:

 

2025-02-16: Online portal opens at http://go.rallyup.com/grpl-readathon2025. 

  • Parents can register their readers until April 11th
  • Readers can reach out to sponsors to raise money for their reading

2025-03-02: Kick-off event at the library from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. 

  • Readers can listen to stories during multiple Read-Alouds
  • Readers and parents can ask questions about the Read-A-Thon
  • Parents can register their Reader

2025-03-02 - 2025-03-29: Reading period

  • Readers read books in school, at home, on the road.... and log their minutes
  • All minutes must be logged online either daily, weekly or at the end of the reading period

2025-04-11: Donation period ends

  • All donations and minutes read must be entered online 

2025-06: Medals and Awards

  • Medals and Awards are distributed towards the end of the school year
  • To receive a medal or award readers need to be registered online, read and logged online at least 300 min, and collected at least $5 in donations
